πŸ“Š Stats Dashboard

A global data view: task totals, completion rate, overdue distribution, workload per person and weekly/monthly trends β€” let data drive your decisions.

πŸ“Œ What is the stats dashboard

Open the stats dashboard and the whole vault's task data unfolds at a glance β€” who has the most tasks, which projects are falling behind, how the weekly completion trend is moving. A chart beats a thousand words.

It gives you the global view you need to make data-driven decisions.

πŸš€ How to open the stats dashboard

1
Open the Gantt chart

Open the Task Nexus Gantt panel from the Obsidian sidebar.

2
Click the stats button

Find the "πŸ“Š Stats" button in the toolbar and click it to open the dashboard.

πŸ“ˆ Overview

The top of the stats dashboard shows your global numbers at a glance:

MetricWhat it means
Total tasksEvery task in the whole Obsidian vault
CompletedTasks marked as done (- [x])
OverdueTasks past their due date and not yet complete
Completion rateCompleted tasks as a percentage of all tasks

⚠️ Overdue analysis

See how overdue tasks are distributed, including the overdue total, overdue-not-started and overdue-in-progress counts.

πŸ’‘ Tip: overdue analysis surfaces risk fast. If "overdue, in progress" keeps climbing, your task estimates are probably off.

πŸ‘₯ Workload per person

See how work is distributed across your team, so you know who is carrying what.

1
Find the workload section

Look for the workload block in the stats dashboard β€” each member is shown as a card.

2
Read the numbers

Each card shows total tasks, completed tasks and overdue tasks.

πŸ“‰ Weekly trend

A line chart of tasks completed and tasks started each week, so you can track your team's rhythm.

πŸ’‘ How to read it: if the started line stays above the completed line, work is piling up β€” worth a closer look.

πŸ“Š Monthly trend

A bar chart of tasks completed and tasks started each month β€” built for monthly retrospectives.

🏷️ Priority distribution

The share of tasks at each priority level (⏫ high / πŸ”Ί medium / πŸ”½ low / ⏬ lowest).

PriorityWhat it means
⏫ HighHigh-priority tasks
πŸ”Ί MediumMedium-priority tasks
πŸ”½ LowLow-priority tasks
⏬ LowestLowest-priority tasks

πŸ“‚ Project distribution

Task and completion counts per project, so you can compare progress across projects.

Each project appears as a card showing its total tasks and how many are done.
